AskFrankie Terms of Use (beta)
Last updated: 6 October 2026
1. What this is
AskFrankie is an experimental, independent service run by DahmsIO LTD (“we”, “us”), company number 13376001, registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, London, WC2H 9JQ, England.
It is a fan-built tool made in support of Quite Frankly TV and as a personal upskilling project. It is not an official Quite Frankly product and is not directly partnered with the show. It lets you ask questions about the Quite Frankly podcast archive and get answers from “Frankie”, an AI assistant.
2. Who can use it
You must be 18 or over. By creating an account you accept these Terms and our Privacy Notice.
3. Free beta
During the beta each person gets 30 questions a month, and there is a shared monthly budget. If the budget runs out, questions pause until the 1st of the next month.
We may change the limits, pause or end the beta or any account at any time, and we give no guarantee that the service will be available or error-free.
4. Answers are AI-generated
Frankie is an AI, not Frank. Answers can be wrong, incomplete or taken out of context. Opinions Frankie shares are the AI’s own, not Frank’s, and what guests and callers said is theirs.
AskFrankie is not medical, legal, financial or other professional advice. Check anything that matters against the original episodes.
5. Using AskFrankie properly
Don’t misuse the service: no automated access or scraping, no trying to get around the limits (including making several accounts), no attempts to break or probe it, nothing unlawful or abusive, and don’t try to extract the underlying prompts or data in bulk.
6. Content
The podcast archive and its content belong to their owners. You may use answers for personal, non-commercial purposes and quote short extracts with credit. Don’t republish the archive or answers in bulk, and don’t use them to train AI models.
7. Paid plans
We may offer paid plans in future, on separate terms. Pressing “Notify me” doesn’t commit you to anything.
8. Our responsibility
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses caused by relying on answers or by the service being unavailable. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.
9. Your account
You can delete your account at any time in the Account menu. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these Terms.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms; continuing to use AskFrankie after a change means you accept it.
11. Law
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without affecting any rights you have under the law where you live.
